The Northwestern most country in Africa, Morocco boasts both coastlines on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, while also having large areas of desert terrain.
1. Camel Trekking
A great way to see all the spectacular sights of Morocco. Camel Treks can be any length, if you’re feeling adventurous enough, you can take multi-day treks across the Sahara, visiting different cities.
2. Medina of Marrakesh
Dates back to Neolithic times and is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Many of the buildings and walls around the city were made from red sandstone – giving it the nickname of the Red City. The Medina is the area of the old city that is full of vendors and different market stalls.
A French inspired ‘Ville Nouvelle’ is home to the world’s third largest Mosque, along with the Parc de la Ligue Arabe, the city’s largest park. Casablanca Cathedral is located on the outskirt of the park.
